Printing your Graphic Output from your Java program


To print your graphic output on your desktop to a printer in HT 319 Lab, you need to capture your output image first.

  1. To start a screen capture program, click Graphics -> KSnapshot from your menu.


  2. In the Screen Capture Program window, choose “Window Under Cursor” in the Capture mode field. Click New Snapshot button and then click on a image you want to capture. The program will show you the image you just captured.


  3. To print the image, click Print.... Make sure that the printer name shown is "ht319".

    You can save the image by clicking Save As... button.


  4. You can print more than one image on a page by using Abiword or OpenOffice. The programs are under Office menu.
